I’d like to welcome you to Secret Language, a place I created to share my thoughts on Magic with my peers. More than a website, it is a personal space - one shaped by my experience, my values, and the way I have come to understand this art over the years. For me, Magic has never been simply about method or effect. It is a medium for self-expression, and everything here reflects that perspective.
I grew up in Magic during a time when secrets were still passed carefully from person to person, through private conversations, intimate gatherings, and handwritten letters. There was something rare and meaningful in that way of learning: a sense of privilege, of responsibility, and above all, of respect. The beauty of that culture - and the reverence it carried for the value of secrets - shaped me deeply, both as a magician and as a person.
Time does not move backward, and the world around Magic has changed. Yet I continue to believe that direct relationship, personal exchange, and genuine connection remain essential to the serious study of this art. They are not only part of how knowledge is passed on, but part of how taste, discernment, and respect are formed. For those who wish to engage with Magic in a deeper way, these things still matter.
I was fortunate to encounter this philosophy early in my life, and it has informed my approach ever since. It shaped the way I study, the way I create, and the way I think about what is worth preserving in Magic. This project is, in many ways, an extension of that belief: a space for thoughtful exploration, for nuance, and for a more personal encounter with ideas.

Every week, a new video is released, recorded personally by Helder Guimarães.
These sessions offer a direct window into his thinking on Magic. From routines, methods, and rehearsal to performance, experience design, and magical composition. Each video is meant not simply to teach, but to open a line of thought: a way of seeing, refining, and approaching the art with greater intention.
More than content, these are invitations into a deeper conversation , with reflections designed to inspire meaningful exchange among members who care about Magic as a serious and expressive art form.
Each month, we publish a selection of original essays and unpublished articles devoted to deeper study.
Some will explore historical ideas. Others will examine philosophical questions, artistic values, and the subtler dimensions of practice and performance. Together, they are intended to create space for a slower, more thoughtful engagement with Magic, one that challenges perception, sharpens curiosity, and invites genuine reflection.
This is not writing produced for speed, but for substance. And because this space is meant to remain alive and responsive, suggestions for future topics will always be welcomed.
THE JOURNAL
INNER CIRCLE
At the heart of Secret Language is ongoing connection.
Members will remain in close contact through a private WhatsApp community, creating a living space for exchange, questions, and shared discoveries. Alongside this, we will host regular online intimate gatherings, designed to bring the community together more directly.
These will take place monthly, with additional spontaneous sessions whenever the moment feels right. In them, we will share the projects currently being developed, offer members an early look at what is to come, and open the space for conversation, dialogue, and questions of every kind.
Every time new content is available in each of these sections,
the previous is taken down.
The intention is simple:
to create a more personal, thoughtful, and conscious way of being in Magic.

Whether you have a question, need guidance, or require support with an order, a request, or any practical matter within the website, The Concierge is there to make the experience feel seamless. More than simple assistance, this is a point of human contact: thoughtful, attentive, and aligned with the spirit of the project.
In a digital world that often feels impersonal, we believe there is still great value in being met by a real person: someone who can respond with presence, understanding, and a sense of care. The Concierge exists inside your member’s area to preserve that feeling and to ensure that your experience within Secret Language remains smooth, welcoming, and quietly exceptional.
The Ontology marks our first re-release and returns to the market as a full-finished piece: a purpose-built deck designed for effects that feel surgically impossible, clean, direct, and strangely inevitable.
The original release disappeared quickly. This edition is not a reprint. It's a refinement: rebuilt with expanded thinking, sharper handling, and deeper nuance, purposefully crafted for the performer who understands the vital importance of details, timing and staging.
